I’ve just had the best month ever – on all fronts. But the true value and purpose of my best month ever is for you to benefit. I mean that. I believe experience isn’t wisdom until it’s shared. My heart, mind, and spirit are soaring because I’m now so aware that education, neuro linguistic programming, mentoring, hard work, meditation, and love – tons of love – really do work.
I’m excited to be a part of Christine Kloser’s Transformational Author Retreat in Maryland in the USA. It was inspirational to spend quality time with my fellow Masterhearts – authors who care about bringing about positive change through writing about their journeys and so much more. We’re celebrating the coming together of Pebbles in the Pond: Transforming the World One Person at a Time (publishing May 20th, 2012). I mixed and mingled with 56 of the world’s finest writers who can truly wear the tag “humankind” in an age of uncertainty and global shift.
You’ll find my chapter, Born Free, among the four chapters here: http://www.PebblesInThePondBook.com/preview. You can also sample a wonderful selection of authors reading their own chapters on YouTube at: http://www.youtube.com/pebblesinthepondbook.
If I had to choose three actions – other than love – that turned my world around, they would be Dream, Dare, and Share.
Peek into my month: My miracle daughter, Mira, turned six on Valentine’s Day. She twinkled at me as I cuddled her before bed, murmuring, “Thank you, Mama, for organizing the best day of my life.” She is a shining example of the very best in my world.
And I have the most awesome clients making massive progress in their lives and businesses through my “Your Unique System” program. They’re building sustainable businesses totally aligned with who they are, and distinguishing themselves with their specially crafted offerings. My relationships rock, and I live in paradise, doing work I love. I have so much to be grateful for. It wasn’t always this way. I know what it takes to create a life like this.
Dream the widest net you can cast, and then let yourself imagine even further than that. From the dream, get definite, and decide what you really want. Put that into words. That’s what happened to me. I dreamed I wanted to be a successful author, and three months later I was a first place winner in Christine Kloser’s Transformational Author Writing Contest with my book Hot Confidence: Conscious Pathways to Take You from Mini Me to Magnificence.
Dare. Between that win and the delivery of the work, there was a whole lot of daring. I dared to be the best writer I could be. I dared to get up at four am every morning and fit writing into an already full schedule. I dared to reshape my week to write. I dared to know I was good enough. I dared to write, write, write, without reading, editing, or judging what I had written. I dared to make a stand for my writing with my family so that I could do what I needed to complete my manuscript. I dared to share exercises and examples from my life and the experiences of those who have gone through profound, positive, prosperous changes in their lives. And now I am daring to share how to do that.
I endeavor to Share everything I learn that is of benefit in a way that assists others. In order to share, I’ve had to learn many new approaches to communication on and off line. I’ve studied human behavior, coaching, therapy, mentoring, writing, theater, and a host of holistic modalities to find ways to connect with people. I’m still working at that one, and hope always to be delighted by the unfolding of ever-more ways to share my message and teach others to share theirs.
For today, my secret recipe is definitely: Dream, Dare, and Share!
